You’ve Been Chopping Onions For Years But You’ve NEVER Seen It Done Like This. Wow!

I have never stopped being amazed whenever I watch some of the skills that chefs shown when with a knife. Some of the skills are pretty dangerous but they do it effortlessly and there is no doubt they took a lot of time mastering them.

Though I have been able to watch lots of videos where knife skills are being displayed, I find this one totally unique. It’s all about sheer speed and believe you me- it’s so fast!

In the video, you can see a man standing behind a table with a wooden cutting board in front of him, newspaper down, and a bowl of red onions to his left. It’s pretty obvious that he’s going to chop some onions, but I definitely wasn’t prepared for what I was about to see.

He grabs the first onion and his knife and starts chopping. The first onion is pretty quick, but it’s nothing compared to the rest of the red onions.

Once this guy starts really getting into a groove, he’s chopping at lightning speed. The small pieces of onion are flying around the table and he just goes right on to the next one. Honestly, as the video title says, I’m not sure you could actually do this any faster with a blender.

It’s amazing to see someone with such great hand-eye coordination, skill, and dexterity to pull this off without losing a finger (or five). What a cool thing to watch!
