There is nothing enjoyable and pleasant like having a get-together meal with your friends. Not only a simple delicacy but also mutual company and good food worth a golden crown. I like trying out frequently on new recipes to get one fit for Sunday Brunch-my most favorite meal with friends. The moment my eyes landed on the Bacon French Toast Roll-Ups recipe at the Recipe Tin Eats it was very certain to me that it would be my next ‘agenda’ for the week.
Preparing a Bacon French Toast Roll-Ups is simple and easy. One requires the following ingredients: one table spoon of butter, one egg(large in-size),two table spoons of milk(full cream present with low fat),six strips of streaky bacon with the rind removed and six slices of fresh and soft sandwich bread. A pinch of salt and nutella cheese for dipping is optional.
Firstly, the streaky bacon strips are laid within the bread roll-up which had already been dipped in an egg-y mixture. The bread has to be dipped well in the egg mixture prior to the nestling of the bacon strips with the bread roll-ups.
Secondly, the nestled bacon strips within the bread roll-ups are then fried until the golden brown color is evident using a pan.
Wow! Nice delicacy with sweet aroma. Mm…the Bacon French Toast Roll-Ups are served with a sweet dipping sauce. They are too tasty to perfectly spice up any meal, whether breakfast or any other meal. You can’t miss trying it out! Can you?

First, you want to cut the crusts off of the bread. You can use whatever type of bread you’d like (whole wheat, sourdough, etc.) but this recipe uses white bread.
Roll each piece of bread until it’s nice and flat. If you don’t have a rolling pin, you can use a jar!

Place bacon in a large pan and sear each side on high heat until it’s browned, but make sure the bacon isn’t too crispy and won’t too easily break. Also, save the bacon grease — you’ll need it later!

Place one piece of bacon in the center of each piece of bread. Roll up the bread, ending with the seam side down. Think of it like a Pig-In-A-Blanket, breakfast style.
Whisk egg, milk, and salt in a dish or bowl large enough for a blanket to lie flat. Then, roll the blankets in the egg mixture and coat evenly.
Use the remaining bacon grease to cook the bacon blankets for 3-4 minutes each. Make sure to brown them evenly and rotate in the pan as needed. They should be golden brown.

Serving the blankets with a dip is optional, and here you can get creative. Some people use cheese, while others go for syrup or Nutella. If you want to keep it simple, sprinkle some powdered sugar or cinnamon on top!
And now, the time has come. Remove the blankets, serve immediately and dig in. Enjoy!
