I Thought She Was Crazy After Buying This Old Shabby House, Upon Renovation… Unbelievable!

They call me a classic man because I am possessed with outdated things! I simply can’t wait to do some window shopping at the stores for A-line ‘50s outfit or just having to read the ancient cook guides for a perfect classic icebox cake recipe.

Surprisingly, there is an English family which actually is living to my outdated dream, which is just living a life very similar to the old times of 1940s. Since then, my target has become living like them in my home.

This is why I immediately had to take a peep at this lovely old-fashioned vacation home in Oregon that I happened to see!

A post that Sarah Phipps, a designer by trade, shared, was saying that she had fallen in love with a home of the 1940s even though it was in a bad shape, with the old carpeting, walls of paperboards peeling off and a dreadful heater. She said that what she only pictured in her mind was how it would look like when finished.

She never spent a large sum of money to full transform the shabby house to one which is similar to the old fashioned houses that we see at the fairy stories
