I hope this reaches the parents of this young man!!!
My four-year-old son was so tired of driving the truck after football practice tonight that he started crying and acting like an idiot. My 7 year old daughter started crying when I told her we have red potatoes as a side for dinner and she clearly wasn’t a fan so I threw my hand down and said forget it – McDonald’s tonight!
We drive and have lunch. All three children are now crying for different reasons. Proceed to payment; I left my bag at home. Now you are ready to cry. I look at the young man, tears in my eyes from stress and anger, and say, “Honey, I’m so sorry, but I have to cancel this order because I forgot my bag at home when we went to football tonight without hesitation, he pulls out his wallet and swipes his card before I even say, “No, I’ll be right back!”

I said, “Wait, no honey, it’s okay, I’ll be back,” and he replied, “No, that’s fine, you’re welcome.”

I took a picture and asked his name, to which he replied, “White woman.” He tried to get me out of there when I told him I’d be right back with the money for him.

I just wanted to tell his parents how kind and compassionate their son was! He helped this stressed-out mom catch her breath and remind herself that raising great people is what we parents strive for. Well Wyatt you are an amazing human being!!!

I went back and gave him the money I had to coerce him because he wouldn’t take more than he paid for, but I wanted to let him know that doing good in the world pays tenfold!

Wyatt, don’t let the world change your kind heart, because it’s people like you who will change the world!
