A gesture full of kindness, which not many people would think to do so spontaneously.

A woman from Oklahoma, USA, who thought she would be arrested, ended up having a new pair of shoes instead.

Sheriff Brandon Hendrix was working for security the day he caught sight of this barefoot woman in a local supermarket.

“He stopped and offered to take her to a shoe store to buy her a pair of shoes,” a witness told a local publication.

“She thought he would arrest her,” the witness said. But, in fact, the policeman took her, with a colleague of his, and bought her a pair of shoes that she wanted and a pair of socks. “They matched the skirt she was wearing.”
