A lady had been caught robbing from shelves in a store in a major US city, and two police officers were sent to the scene.

Officers Keith Bradshaw and Candace Spragins discovered a lady there who had taken food worth $36.

She returned the stolen food while crying and made an apology.

She acknowledged having three adoptive children and telling the police that she had no food for them. A fter receiving a serious head injury, the mother was unable to work for a while, and her children had gone three days without food.

When the authorities arrived to her house, they only discovered a slice of cheese in the refrigerator after opening it.

Unfortunately, the two cops had to bring a criminal complaint against the woman on the grounds of stealing.

However, they made a choice that astonished her mother knowing her story.

They went back to the shop and stocked a cart with food.

She claimed the food would sustain her for several weeks.
