You only require the following
I teaspoon of salt
Melted butter (1 teaspoon)
1 table spoon of olive oil
4 medium sized Yukon gold potatoes (an alternative is offered by russet potatoes)

Preparing:
Your oven is preheat to 475° F.
The potato is made to lay flat by cutting some thin slice from the bottom.
With the help of a knife, around 20 slices are made lengthwise from one end to the other. That’s done on the potatoes tops and one must ensure the cutting does not take place all through. Approximately, about a half an inch is left uncut at the potato’s bottom.
Mixing of oil and butter within a bowl is done.
The potatoes are then placed onto a baking sheet and half of the mixture that has olive oil and butter brushes the sheet. Baking that lasts 30 minutes is done but that takes place after salt has been sprinkled.
So as to ensure it turns gold, the remaining mixture of butter and oil is use to brush the potatoes and then left to cook for another 45 minutes. Kindly SHARE!
