Most parents never know where to take the many clothes their kids have worn while growing up. You’re coming across amazing project for the parents when they find how to reutilize the old clothes of their kids. From the research that was conducted by Council for Textile Recycling, an American citizen dumps 70 pounds of textiles where clothing is included. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), released a report saying that all the thrown away clothing amounts to the 5% of America’s landfill areas.
Textile dumping is not only dealt with the council when it creates awareness of recycling clothes. A nonprofit international organization called Planet Aid, is fighting for a reduction of poisonous emissions that lead to global warming. This same organization is the one that has left yellow bins all over the place so that the population can dump old clothes in an environmental friendly way. A statement released by Planet Aid has it that 3-4 pounds of carbon dioxide is saved from being released to the atmosphere when a pound of clothing is not dumped.
