It’s a fact that most people don’t really use their storage spaces. They use it as a place where they can dump used items and sometimes let their dogs spend a night or two there.
The thing is, if you’re in this band-wagon, then you need to realize that you’re wasting a lot of space that you could have used for better purposes that storing trash.Keli of Craftshack found that out when she went to the family shed.
They hadn’t even opened the shed for quite some time, and so the day Keli opened it to get some decorations for the holiday; it seemed like a calling of some sort.
When she went in, she instantly had ideas flowing through her mind. Keli hadn’t a place of her own where she could hide out and pass some time while thinking of and doing her own important stuff. Now she had it!
Currently, the good lady is using the previously useless shed as her station for imagining and creating cool stuff as well as spending some good times.
Kindly watch this and SHARE. Great!
When Kelli ventured into her family’s shed to find some holiday decorations, she had a brilliant idea. Since the shed was pretty much empty, and very rarely accessed, she decided it should be put to better use.
Eagerly, Kelli turned to her hubby and suggested a conversion. He simply replied, “Why not?” So, they got to work!
Thankfully, Kelli and her husband had some happy helpers.

Well, they had some helpers for a little while at least. (The kids didn’t stick around too long.)
Figuring she could utilize the space between framing for shelving, Kelli decided to forgo drywall. The particle board got a coat of fresh white paint, while the ceiling became a soft lilac.
Once the paint was dry, they moved on to the flooring. They used adhesive vinyl tiles, which were easy to install.

Next, they installed the counters. These were trimmed in the same lilac as the ceiling.
Shelving and accent pieces were then moved in.
Kelli filled these up with her carefully-organized craft supplies.
She installed some pegboard, on which she hung more supplies and tools.
Finally, Kelli had a space in the house that was totally dedicated to her crafts.
Decked from head to toe in soft purple accents, what once was an old shed was now a DIY dream come true!
To christen the space, she hung the words “Craft Shack” on the wall, in honor of her DIY website.
Now, when looking to craft in peace, Kelli has a space all her own.
With an interior this soft and inviting, it’s also the perfect place to dream up new DIY ideas.
