He’s Holding The Smallest Puppy In His Hands

Of late, the love for pets is growing bigger with their reducing sizes. Nowadays, it’s common to see people with purses and leashes carrying their tiny dogs around. I believe many consider them as little babies.  They are so pretty and the smaller they are, the prettier they become.

You have to meet Hope. At the time this video was being produced, the 4 months old toy poodle was the tiniest dog worldwide. As revealed by Rodney Mclean who works at K911 Animal Ambulance which is located within Montreal, Canada, Hope weighed 31 grams at the time she was given birth to. She was aged 4 months and her weight was 11 ounces at the time the video got posted.

As revealed by Rodney within this YouTube description, he was informed by his veterinarian that should Hope attain 13 ounces, it could be a lucky case. Though she is a victim of dwarfism, she has defied all the odds so far. As noted by Rodney, hardly do dwarfism victims live for more than 48 hours- Hope hadover exceeded that at the time this video was being made.

Hope is really a fighter and that can be proven through this video. She never shies off from showing her true levels of energy and spirit since she never considers herself to be so small.

Unfortunately, it was revealed on the Facebook page of K911 Ambulance that Hope died on 23^rd August 2013.  This was just a month after the posting of this video. What a sad and unexpected ending!

Though sad, it’s quite inspiring to learn the way this diminutive puppy was more dedicated to fighting for her life. I already like the puppy.
