Here Is An Italian Baked Eggs Recipe You Have All Along Been Missing!

You can trust baked eggs whenever you need something delicious as your homemade breakfast or mealtime. Below, we are bringing you a way in which you can prepare Italian flavored baked eggs. To make the process easier, you are advised to go for store bought pizza sauce or marinara.

The recipe requires the following ingredients:

• Your preferred color of chopped bell pepper (1/4 cup)
• Olive oil (a tablespoon)
• Chopped yellow onion (1/4 cup)
• Pepper and salt to taste
• Crushed tomatoes (7 oz)
• 2 minced garlic cloves
• Basil leaves (when you need to garnish)
• 4 eggs
• Shredded mozzarella cheese (1/4 cup)

Then proceed as follows:

1. The oven is preheated to 400°F.Then the non-stick spray is sprayed on your ramekins to make them ready.
2. The olive oil is then heat on a medium pan under medium high heat. Onions and bell peppers are added and cooking started. The cooking takes 5-7 minutes and should be stirred frequently until it becomes soft. Garlic is added and cooked while the stirring continues for around 30 second. Then tomato sauce is added and stirred. Salt and pepper are added and then left to boil. Then the heat is turned off.
3.  The sauce is divided amongst the ramekins. An egg is then added to every ramekin and shredded mozzarella is used to top it.
4. Then baking is allowed to take place for 12-14 minutes. It can be longer when setting of the egg yolks is desired.  Within the 12-14 minutes, it is only the whites which will be set, but the yolks will still be runny.
5. Then it should be served after topping with the chopped basil leaves.
