Safety Measures To Take When There Is A Shootout At Your Workplace!

We live in a world that is very difficult to predict what will be happing in the next second. This is because of the terror attacks that occur frequently as we keep seeing in the news. If a terror attack occurs in the office where you are working, what are the safety measures you should follow to remain alive and get out of the place unhurt? The first thing to do is to properly know where the emergency or exit doors are and immediately run towards them and leave the building. If you are found to be in a place where there are no exit doors, quickly look for a safe place to hide like in a room. While inside, make sure you barricade the door with anything like chairs and then turn the table over and hide behind it. if there are alarms in the room, make sure you turn them on and ignite some flame and put it closer to the fire detectors so that the alarms can be activated to attract attention for quick help. Suppose you are in the room and there is nothing to barricade the door, remove your belt and use it to tie the hinge at the door to prevent the attacker from entering. If the attacker tries to break the door to get you, fight back and use any object as a weapon. It is advisable to use a fire extinguisher to block the attacker.
