Since I was introduced to sweet potatoes, I have all along loved the russet potato. Apart from them being tastier, they are also good for our health. If you have never known, 262% of the amount of vitamin A you need daily is contained in a small sweet potato and 29% of the amount of Vitamin C you need daily is also contained in it. Compared to regular potatoes, their fiber content is twice as much.

I can either choose to cook them using a microwave, when I’m in a hurry or use an oven when I need to prepare them. That was until recently when I discovered a technique which does not require me to add any condiments or ingredients whenever I need themmore flavorful and creamier. All you need to do is to put them into the crock pot!

After scrubbing and rinsing their outer part, poke some holes using a fork and them place them in the crock pot. Drying them is not necessary since the will need the liquid that will be left on the potatoes. Cooking is done for 6-7 hours and during that time the crock pot is set to low (remember its four potatoes at an instance).If you need to hurry, you can set it to high and cook for 3 hours.
