There is more to bacon. I always look forward to my Sunday mornings- the day I have set aside for taking bacon. Though I have been preparing bacon for a number of years, I have never imagined there was another way of making this treat more delicious than it is! That was the case until I came across this!

Thanks to America’s Test Kitchen, this video teaches us on how to do it. As explained within this video by the chef, the initial temperature of cooking bacon needs to be kept low by pouring water over it so as to ensure the meats remains tender by retaining its moisture. As he reveals, by the time the boiling point of water will have been attained, there is no possibility of burning the meat since all its fat could have been fully rendered. The bacon you remain with is not brittle and tough but delicious, crisp and plump. I’m longing to try this hack out already!
