Aubrey Reeves was only 8 years old when she received Mickey’s Heart! Her body by that time had already rejected two hearts, but she did not refuse his: the heart fitted her body perfectly. I also have a kidney. Now the girl is 18 years old!

Although the donors are usually anonymous, 10 years later Aubrey’s personal details were sent by her parents, Mikey’s parents, to show them that their son had saved a life. Because of this, Mike’s parents invited the girl to Monique, his sister’s birthday.
