Even though I love cooking, there are some treats that I consider to be the work of the professional chefs.

But of all the treats that I love, baked Brie tops the list. Thinking of the delicious cream of Brie cheese together with a nice fruit preserve sandwiched in a crumbling crust makes my mouth water.

Before, I used to think that it might be a complicated procedure to prepare the baked Brie just because of the gooey texture of the cheese texture looked complex. But upon seeing this recipe, I discovered that it was among the easiest things to make.

Ingredients:

  • A whole wheel of Brie
  • Preferred fruit preserve (jam).
  • A packet of frozen crescent dough.

Directions:

  • Put the oven to heat to 375 °F.
  • Get the refrigerated crescent dough and make rolls then place them on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Cut the wheel of Brie horizontally to obtain two halves.
  • Place the Brie on top of the crescent dough and dip it in the fruit preserve.
  • The remaining half of the Brie, place it on top of the other half.
  • Double up the crescent dough up and over the cheese, making sure that all sides are covered.
  • Put in oven and leave it to bake for 10-12 minutes.
