There is something that makes Drumi from Yirego a unique portable machine – it has the capability of cleaning from six to seven garments minus the using electricity as its powered requirement. Surprised?

The device is 22-inches tall and can easily fit into any car’s truck. It has a foot pump which is its mechanism of operation and the capacity of water it holds is up to 5 liters.

As revealed on its manufacturer’s website, this foot-powered washer does not impact the environment negatively since around 40% of its components are made from recycled material. That means it saves money, energy and time at the same time. That means this machine is faster and more hygienic when compared to the existing alternatives.

Whenever you plan to go on trips where you are not assured of electricity, it’s the best resource to carry. It can also be a good alternative to those with limited funds such as college students and during emergencies such as power-outs. This machine is part of those wonders technology has in store for us.

We will have to wait until the July of 2016 before we start using Drumi. Meanwhile, let’s be using the resources at our disposal when doing our laundry.
