Of all the ingredients that I like, garlic tops the list, so my main aim is to find a way of sneaking this ingredient in every recipe I try out. That’s the reason as to why I welcome the chance of learning new tips concerning garlic, like how to peel garlic faster.

It goes without saying that I was amazed when I came across this easy way of preparing a tasty garlic salt at home using two ingredients. The advantage of preparing it in your own kitchen is that it will be fresh than the one sold at the stores.

The required ingredients are:

• One peeled garlic head
• One full cup of kosher salt

Procedure:

• Place the oven to heat to 180 ºF.
• Put the salt and the garlic head in a food processor.
• Leave it for 20 minutes to ensure the garlic is well pounded
• Remove the pounded mixture and spread on a parchment paper line with a baking sheet.
• Leave to bake in the oven for an hour.
• Return the mixture back to the processor and mince it for 20 seconds.
• Store the garlic salt in a container.
