The needed ingredients are:

  • 1/2 pound pasta, cooked
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 4 celery ribs, peeled and sliced
  • 6 to 8 cups chicken broth
  • Garlic, sliced.
  • Salt and pepper

Procedure:

  • Heat some oil in a pot and add the carrots, onions and celery then leave it to cook for 5 minutes before stirring them then adding some garlic and leave to cook for a minute.
  • Add the chicken in the veggies. (you can put the whole chicken or also in pieces too)
  • Add salt, pepper and water into the pot and leave it to boil.
  • When it starts to boil, place the lid and lower the heat to medium low and leave it to boil for about 2 hours.
  • Remove the chicken and tear it apart removing the bones (and the skin if you like)
  • Add the chicken meat back to the pot.
  • In another pot cook some noodles and then add them into the pot with chicken once they are cooked.
  • Serve and enjoy limitless!
