I loved spaghetti from the time I was a little kid. This has made me look for the best way of preparing them. While on the internet, I came across this recipe which involved cooking the spaghettis with red wine, and I thought it wise to share it with you. It is an easy process that is brought to us by Food and Wine.
The ingredients needed are:
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- 3/4 pound spaghetti
- 3 1/4 cups dry red wine
- 4 small garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 cup (4 ounces) walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped
- 5 cups water
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Salt

To prepare, you:
- Put some 3 ¼ cups dry red wine in a sauce pan and add some water and salt to it then leave to boil.
- Add spaghetti into the boiling wine and leave to cook till al dente.
- When cooked, decant the excess wined water
- Add olive oil, salt, garlic, red pepper and ¼ cup watered wine into a frying pan and let it boil.
- Add the spaghetti into it and leave for 2 minutes until it absorbs the watered wine then add the remaining ingredients and mix.
- Serve with cheese and enjoy limitlessly!
