  • 1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds

  • 2 sweet potatoes of about ½ a pound each.

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2-4 teaspoons brown sugar

To prepare, you:

  • Stub the sweet potatoes with a knife and put them into the microwave to cook for about 5 minutes until it becomes soft or bake it at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Split the sweet potatoes into halves.
  • Prepare the honeyed almonds by heating the almond seeds together with the honey.
  • Spread the honeyed almonds evenly on the parchment paper then sprinkle some little salt on top.
  • Using a spoon, scoop the inside the sweet potatoes and put them into a bowl
  • Mash up the scooped sweet potatoes together with some sugar, butter, sour cream, pepper and some little salt.
  • Pack the mixture back into the sweet potato shells then top them with the cooled honeyed almonds.
  • Place them in a baking pan and put in oven to bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees, then serve hot!
