One thing that I will confess to you is that I love leftovers. My fridge is always full of them because I don’t throw away food be it from a restaurant or prepared at home.

I don’t know if you have ever discovered that there are some treats that taste good if left to sleep overnight and taken the following day. Another advantage that leftovers have is that you can pile them to come up with something special.

A cake which is my favorite treat, is not among the type of foods that can sleep and still have a cool taste. Even though you take your time to bake and then later frost your cake, the dry stale smell will accompany it the next day even if you keep it in the fridge or wrapped it up with a paper and let it stay at the counter.

But with this kitchen hack, the problem is over and you will never have worries that your cake will go stale!

What you need to do is getting two slices of bread and hold them together using toothpicks. I promise you that the cake will remain fresh the next day too!
